This year, our neighborhood experienced four major rain events that caused street flooding we aren’t used to seeing. In response, the Tara Civic Association contacted the city to inspect the street drains and drainage paths in our hardest-hit areas. This year’s Halloween street closure was a great success! Our police team did an amazing job directing visiting cars to designated parking lots and safely back out of the neighborhood. We were lucky to enjoy another beautiful spring day for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! This year, we welcomed between 70 and 80 children—from just a few months old to 14 years old—all eager to join in the fun.
