Operation Key Fob - Lock your vehicles every evening from the comfort of your kitchen using your key fob. Set up a repeating alarm on your phone for 9pm to remind yourself.
Always remove valuables and firearms from your car
Prevent package theft by retrieving packages from your doorstep promptly. If you will be away for an extended period, ask a neighbor to collect your deliveries for you or arrange to have them delivered to a pick-up location if possible.
Keep in mind the city ordinance for on-street parking. The regulations are:
No vehicle may be parked on the front lawn of any residence
No vehicle may be parked on the front lawn or side yard on any corner lot
A vehicle may be parked on a residential street for a period which does not exceed 9 continuous hours within a 24 hour period.
No vehicle with 2 or more rear axles are permitted to park within a residential neighborhood.
No vehicle may be parked on the street facing oncoming traffic.
No parking on the Tara Blvd median.
Exterior holiday lights and decorations should be taken down within 30 days of the holiday. Exterior holiday lights and decorations should only be up for the current holiday and removed within 30 days. Keep in mind: skeletons are for Halloween, Christmas trees are for Christmas—please don’t extend them for other holidays.
See something – say something!
