Tara Halloween Street Closure

Get ready for another fun, family-friendly night of trick-or-treating! This year, we will again close neighborhood streets to vehicle traffic during Trick-or-Treat hours on Halloween night, creating a safe environment for the many trick-or-treaters and families walking the area.

Glow sticks and lighted costumes are encouraged!!

For Visitors:

We’re happy to welcome you to enjoy the festivities! Please plan ahead and park in one of the designated parking lots shown on the map. The largest parking lot is Tara High School, with several smaller lots located near other entrances to the neighborhood, allowing convenient access to any part of the neighborhood you wish to visit.

Check the Nextdoor app Treat Map to help you plan your route. However, keep in mind that not all participating homes use Nextdoor.

Please check the Halloween Edition newsletter for important details about access after the street closures, including resident-only entry procedures and guidelines.

Residents will not be allowed entry at the Roseneath & Old Hammond Hwy entrance after 5:30pm.

For Candy Givers:

If you’re planning to hand out candy, please consider adding your home to the Nextdoor Treat Map! It’s a fun, easy way to show your Halloween spirit and helps families plan their trick-or-treat routes. Simply open the Nextdoor app, tap the Treat Map, and mark your home to join in the fun.
